I was blessed to have amazing role models throughout my life. As a result, I am inherently a giving, caring and supportive person. Working, volunteering and participating in service- oriented programs, events and organizations over the past 35 years has also been inspiring. The culmination of those experiences, along with God’s guidance, has inspired me to become the founder of a community service organization. HaLiFran was founded          April 21, 2021. The name selected for my organization has great sentimental meaning to me because it is derived from the namesake of three of the most influential women in my life. They are my late Grandmothers, Hazel Limehouse and Lilly Newell, as well as my Mother Frances Limehouse. They have set a phenomenal example of what it is to give of yourself and care for others. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be a partner with you as we grow our communities upward.
